I was cleaning out the basement today and came across some acrylic paintings I did in high school (circa 1980’s) and thought it would be fun to share! 'I’m sure I have more floating around somewhere but for now I will leave you with two of my first acrylic paintings.
The Unicorn painting was dated 1988 on the back. I was obsessed with unicorns (and really anything fantasy related) and painted this based off of one of my favorite folders.
The second painting is actually unfinished. I’m not sure what date it was from but know it was around the same time. It is a painting of an icicle on a branch. Never did finish it but I think it’s pretty neat as is.
No matter how far forward I go, it’s always nice to see where I began.
