Book Review! Legends of Red Sonja

Red Sonja is being hunted by the Grey Riders, a gang of mercenaries who have banded together to seek justice upon the crafty red head for one reason or another.  But Sonja doesn’t like to be hunted and many within the countryside come to her aid in the most unique ways as one campfire story is told after another expanding upon her legendary battles. 

The compilation not only contains issues #1 – 5, but also includes the script to issue #1, and concept art by Jack Jadson and more.  If you haven’t read any of the individual issues, now is the time to get caught up by reading the stories written by some of the hottest names in the fantasy world.  Tamora Pierce, Mercedes Lackey, Rhianna Pratchett, Marjorie M. Liu and more add their voices as they tell some interesting tales of the legendary Red Sonja with a wrap-around tale written by Gail Simone.
