When Bryan Beckett’s Aunt dies, he is delighted to finally
own her old mansion filled with antiques.
Having never been invited to her house while she was alive, Beckett is
quick to move into the place, separating from his wife in the process. After one night alone in the house, Beckett
begins to hear noises and begins to question his own skepticism. When he discovers that his Aunt had a will
after all and left the home to an institution that studied sleep disorders and
more, Beckett begins legal proceedings to contest the will and continues to
stay in the home. Noises are the least
of his concern when he sees a woman at the bottom of the stairs who disappears
when the lights come on.
Tim Daly gives an excellent performance as Bryan Beckett in
this ghost story written and directed by Tennyson Bardwell. Tom Arnold, Robert Prosky, Zoe Saldana, and
Andrea Roth co-star.
