Will Atenton retires from his position as a successful
editor to pursue the dream he always wanted by writing a novel and spending
time with his family. As he and his
family adapt to their new home, they soon discover their house was the scene of
a brutal series of murders. As Will
investigates what happened in their home he uncovers a dark secret that has
been buried for years.

Dream House isn’t
an original ghost story but it is an effective one. The actors make or break a movie and this one
had fine performances all around. The
plot was a bit predictable as was the ending but that didn’t dissuade me from
liking the movie very much. I enjoyed watching
it and was very happy that Netflix had it streaming! With the weather getting colder, this is a
great Saturday afternoon movie.
