Movie Review! Housebound

Over the years, there have been a lot of horror comedies released, but few really seem to hit the mark.  Housebound comes very close.  What it lacks in originality, it makes up for in it's quirkiness.

Kylie Bucknell, played by Morgana O'Reilly, just can't seem to get a break.  After a failed ATM robbery lands her in jail, Kylie is placed under house arrest back at her mother's home to serve out her sentence and undergo rehabilitation.  It isn't long before Kylie realizes that it isn't just her family and neighbors that are strange.  Strange things are occurring inside her house, and she soon believes her mother's wild accusations that the house is haunted.

If you are a fan of the movies House, and Tucker & Dale Vs Evil, then you will surely enjoy Housebound.
