Unlike the author, my mother used to make homemade bread all the time. I still have yet to acquire her recipes, but this book has quite a few great recipes that will suffice in the interim. With everything from loaf bread to butters & spreads, the instructions are very easy to read and follow with a few good pictures scattered throughout to keep you dreaming.
