31 Days of Horror! Darkness

When Regina and her family move into a house in the Spanish countryside, strange occurrences begin to happen to certain members of the family.  The father begins to suffer from attacks of rage that haven't occurred in years, while the youngest son begins to talk about the darkness taking his colored pencils, and bruising him in his sleep.  Regina feels as though she's the only one that thinks something is wrong and begins to investigate the home's history with a friend of hers from school.  What they discover is it's unspeakable history, and the future the house holds for her family.

I watched this movie quite a few years ago and it was nice to revisit it again for this year's countdown.  Lena Olin is one of my favorite actresses so it was an added bonus.  If you somehow missed this one over the years, it's a decent film and worth watching.  I especially liked the ending but maybe it's just me...
