31 Days of Horror! Let Us Prey

When rookie cop PC. Rachel Heggie set out to start her first overnight shift in a backwater town in Scotland, she didn't quite expect the evening to turn out the way it did.  Before she could even report in to her new location, she witnesses a hit and run yet cannot find the victim.  When she brings the driver into the station to charge him, she is introduced to her fellow overnight crew.  Yet she will soon learn that this simple hit and run is the mildest event to transpire.

I will admit, when I started watching this movie I couldn't stop thinking about The Traveler starring Val Kilmer.  The similarities are too strong for it to be a coincidence: small precinct; night shift; stranger enters and is locked up; strange, supernatural occurrences begin; stranger has a deep dark secret that you know will be revealed...Fortunately,the differences are enough that Let Us Prey still stands strong on its own (though the ending does go a bit over the deep end).

Overall, worth the watch. (And I do recommend The Traveler as well)
