Based off a Stephen King short story, Mercy is the tale of single mother who is needed to take care of her ailing mother after the nursing home no longer wishes to take care of. Together with her two sons, she moves back into her mother's home where a series of strange events begin to unfold.
Told primarily from the youngest son's perspective we learn a bit about his Grandmother's background and her 'unusual' string of good fortune beginning with the birth of her triplets (which were miraculously born after she had been declared barren).
Honestly, this movie was really good until the ending where it seemed to fall apart at the seams. It's possible that much of the missing story was lost on the cutting room floor, or, quite simply, the writer's painted themselves into a corner and didn't know how to end it. Overall, it wasn't a waste of time and worth a peek at least.
