Right off the bat I will state that the description for this movie is a little misleading as it promises a bloodbath in the town that never occurs. Or at least not the kind of one I would envision in a horror movie...That being said, The Stranger plays out more as a drama at first with a supernatural element. It doesn't really ramp up in action until the ending. The characterization is fair and the filming is decent. Overall, not a waste of time.
