Hailey Dean tries and convicts one of her biggest cases - serial killer Curtis Burrell Cruise. Once sentenced, Cruise attacks Dean which leads her to quit her job as a prosecutor, move out of state, and become a therapist. The Eleventh Victim is a pretty decent thriller. As predictable as any other formulaic crime drama, the performances were pretty good in this one. I haven't read the book yet, but I do remember it being a hit when I worked at a bookstore years ago. I am curious to pick it up now after seeing the movie to see how close (or far) they translated it to film. maybe one day a review of the book will pop up here...Until then, at least there is the movie.
