Movie Review! Faces In the Crowd

After a night out with friends, Anna Marchant sees her friend safely into a cab and decides to walk home alone.  On the way, she witnesses a murder.  After being pursued, and attacked by the murderer, she falls over the railing of a bridge and strikes her head before plunging into the water.  As if the trauma of the attack wasn't enough, when Anna wakes up a week later, her head injury has caused her to suffer from a rare disorder that causes 'facial blindness'.  Unable to even recognize her own father, Anna lives in fear not knowing whether the killer is the person standing next to her.

I think one of the things I really liked about this movie was the fact that they filmed each character with a different actor or actress to give the viewer the same sense of disorientation that Anna felt.  Though the voices remained the same, each person in her life changed faces in the exact way her character perceived them to (including her own reflection in the mirror).  This added to the mystery of who the killer was creating a unique little thriller that I highly recommend.
