Rosamund Pike stars as Miranda Wells, a critical care nurse who is on the path to becoming a surgical nurse. With her house on the market, she is looking to upgrade to a bigger and better home. When a blind date goes horribly wrong, Miranda's plans are shattered. As she struggles to regain her life, she soon discovers that the key to her recovery is in revenge.
Previously I stated that this was slow and predictable. Mind you, that is not always a bad thing. This is definitely a drama and a great portrayal by Rosamund of a rape victim trying to pick up the pieces of her life. The ending is a bit rushed considering the lead in, but with the time constraints of a typical movie, this is understandable.
Not a bad rainy day or weekend afternoon movie but definitely one more for the ladies.
