When Detective Lewis is called to the scene of a multiple homicide and finds one survivor, he enlists the help of a psychologist to help in his investigation. Together, the two uncover the events of the evening and the link to the history of the house where the infamous Livingstone murders occurred.
The story line of a group of ghost hunters biting off more than they can chew has been over played to the point where they are trite. It takes a lot to make them feel original. What saved this movie from complete disaster was the star power of Frank Grillo and Maria Bello. Though the ending did try for a unique plot twist, it was a bit predictable and left a giant hole. Overall, I wasn't disappointed and didn't feel as though it were a waste of time. Worth watching at least and still far better than most that try this story line.
