31 Days of Horror! Limehouse Golem

Victorian London is gripped with fear as a serial killer is on the loose and leaving cryptic messages written in the blood of his victims. With few leads and increasing public pressure, Scotland Yard assigns the case to Inspector Kildare, a seasoned detective who has a sneaking suspicion that he's being set up to fail. Faced with a long list of suspects, Kildare must rely on help from a witness to stop the murders and bring the maniac to justice.
At first glance, this movie is yet another Victorian murder mystery akin to the likes of Jack the Ripper.  We have our typical set up of the Scotland Yard investigating a string of grisly murders, and an unlikely link to a young woman accused of poisoning her husband who may or may not have been the perpetrator of said crimes.

The script skillfully weaves a tapestry of fact and fiction within the story itself as the lead inspector tries to piece together the facts of the crime and solve the mystery before there is another killing.  As his investigation grows, he becomes more convinced of the link between the murders and that of a popular theater group.  One by one Kildare eliminates his suspect pool, but is the evidence he finds enough to prove one man's guilt, and a woman's justice for committing a crime.
