31 Days of Horror! Seven In Heaven

As part of a game, two teens walk into a closet but emerge to find an unusual alternate universe. They struggle to return to their own reality before the door closes for good.
Though this movie is technically a sci fi mystery, I'm leaving it as is for this month's viewing.  It was trippy enough to be entertaining for a countdown to Halloween.

The movie doesn't have that slow of a start, but does an effective job of introducing the line up of characters.  Once the party hits and the card game ensues placing two of our characters in the closet for seven minutes in heaven, that's when the action begins.  The characters were compelling and I really liked that they never truly explain the "why" of the alternate realities (and the background of the one character that knows about it).  That part may annoy many viewers but I prefer to have endings left as a mystery for me to solve and discuss with friends.

Overall, this was a decent watch on a rainy day.
