Transformers One (2025)

Transformers One
takes fans back to the very beginning, telling the untold story of Optimus Prime and Megatron before they became sworn enemies. Once bonded like brothers, their choices set the stage for the fate of Cybertron and the long-running battle that fans know so well.

For me, this was a total guilty pleasure. I grew up with Transformers, and I’ve seen every live-action film the franchise has rolled out. This animated entry, though, was pure fun. The pacing keeps things moving while still giving space for the relationship between Optimus and Megatron to develop in a meaningful way.

Visually, it’s stunning, and the action sequences deliver that big, explosive energy you expect from Transformers, but with the freedom of animation that makes everything feel even more dynamic. There’s also a surprising amount of heart here, which makes the eventual fracture between the two characters hit harder.

Overall, Transformers One is an excellent addition to the franchise. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just someone who enjoys epic animated adventures, this one is absolutely worth watching. Highly recommend.
