I’ve seen plenty of films in this genre, and honestly, I didn’t expect much going in. But this one quickly proved to be a cut above the rest.
Movie Description:
Six adventurous strangers travel to a mysterious building to experience an escape room game with a $10,000 prize. What begins as lighthearted fun quickly spirals into a nightmare when the group discovers each room is an elaborate, deadly trap designed to test their wits and push them to the brink.
My Review:
There are plenty of films with this kind of premise, but this one stands out. The characters are actually interesting, making it easy to root for them as they face each high-stakes puzzle. The traps are clever—not too obvious but not annoyingly impossible either—which keeps the tension tight and the pacing strong. What really made it work for me were the characters; they’re easy to root for, and their reactions feel grounded in real fear.
It’s a solid, well-executed survival thriller with plenty of suspense.
Definitely recommend this one.
