You can’t go wrong with a haunted house setup during Halloween—or at least, that’s the hope. This one had all the makings of a fun, spooky ride, and while it didn’t blow me away, it scratched the seasonal itch just fine.
Movie Description:
The night before a local haunted house opens for Halloween, six friends sneak in for a few hours of fun. Soon after entering, they find themselves trapped inside with no way out. Their evening of fun rapidly turns into their worst nightmare as the horrors inside come to life.
My Review:
This wasn’t a terrible movie—it definitely had its moments. Some of the scenes inside the haunted house were surprisingly well done and gave off the perfect eerie vibe. While it’s not going to land on anyone’s all-time horror list, it’s also not a waste of time.
A solid “popcorn and lights-off” kind of watch.
