A haunted resort set in Hawaii? That premise alone had me ready for some eerie island horror vibes and stunning visuals mixed with supernatural chills. Unfortunately… not every vacation goes as planned.
Movie Description:
Four friends head to Hawaii to investigate reports of a haunting at an abandoned resort in hopes of finding the infamous Half-Faced Girl. When they arrive, they quickly learn that some legends are better left alone.
My Review:
I really wanted to like this movie. I mean, who doesn’t want to watch a horror film about a haunted resort—especially one set in Hawaii? Sadly, it was just missing… everything. The atmosphere, tension, pacing—it all fell flat. What could have been a fun, creepy watch ended up feeling more like a missed opportunity.
A beautiful location wasted on a forgettable film.
