Heading into the final stretch of the 31 Days of Horror, I was hoping for something meta and fun to close things out—but this one turned out to be more of a trick than a treat.
Movie Description:
A mysterious villain from a new horror film appears at the cast’s wrap party and begins to stage their own gruesome kill scenes.
My Review:
This movie had all the right opportunities to shine but failed at every step. I don’t mind bad acting or even a rough script if the movie can at least lean into its chaos—but this one was just a slog. The pacing dragged, the humor didn’t land, and the horror fell flat.
Aside from one kill scene that actually made me laugh out loud, That’s a Wrap was a total flop. Honestly, it would’ve worked better as a straight-up comedy.
