The Being is everything you would expect from an 80's creature feature. Such a fun romp and you have to love the practical effects. One thing from the 80's movie is not just the cheese factor, but that everyone involved understood the assignment to make an entertaining horror movie with no thoughts or ambitions for winning an academy award.
There is gore. There are stupid decisions being made by the characters. There are awkward scene changes. But it's short enough that you just don't mind.
Excellent addition to the countdown.
